The BWI team

At the root of what we do is a passion for wine. We have worked across the board in the wine trade and have a depth and wealth of experience from auction houses, brokering, buying, selling and retail to financial services in the City of London.

We want people to get as much pleasure out of wine as we do and the key is being approachable and friendly. We take pride in helping everyone discover the extraordinary range of wines from around the world and work closely with both private clients and the trade.

BWI as a company

We have a long history of working with the producers and negociants in Bordeaux, and because of these excellent relationships we have enviable allocations and access to almost any wine from this corner stone in the Old World.

Alongside these extraordinary wines, and those from 2005 promise to be especially good, we are working hard to introduce people to the myriad superb wines from around the globe, whether they come from the New or Old World.

BWI was founded by the English principal and owner of one of the largest importers of classified Bordeaux wines to the U.S.A. after he was inundated with pleas for help this side of the Atlantic Ocean.

Now eight years old, BWI continues to build on its well-established foundations as a Bordeaux specialist, working with growing numbers of private clients, whether they are buying wines for drinking now, building a cellar or investing.
