INTRODUCTION

Chanson Pere & Fils

"Since Bollinger took over the company there seems to have been a very dramatic upgrade in quality. I was most impressed by this range, tasted in London as cask samples at the end of February."

Jancis Robinson MW, Purple Pages, 15 March 2007

Founded in 1750, Chanson Pere & Fils was one of the first generations of wine companies who appeared in Beaune during the 18th Century. The history of the House of Chanson is intimately linked with the wines of Burgundy as they have shared the same destiny for 250 years.

Now, part of the Societe Jacques Bollinger Group, Chanson is making wines of outstanding quality. A specialist in Beaune Premier Cru wines, Chanson now has a total of 45 hectares of Domaine vineyards in the Cote d'Or, including 7 recently acquired. The Chanson Domaine itself consists entirely of Premier Cru vineyards apart from one Grand Cru, Corton-Vergennes.

Rarely does one have the opportunity to offer such a great range of wines from a single grower with excellent quality at all price levels. With Chanson Pere & Fils we do and are delighted to offer for your pleasure the full list here on the BWI site. Please take the opportunity to look at these wines by clicking on the wine list link.
