Storage and insurance
Storing wine in the correct environment and at the optimum temperature is crucial for its development and future quality. This is particularly so for investment grade wine.

We recommend that you allow us to store your wine for you in secure, bonded warehouses, often located in Bordeaux.

Your security is ensured and you will receive a yearly statement and valuation of your wines. Each case will have a stock and storage number for identification and proof of title.

The charges for storage in our facilities are;

£7.63 per case per year + VAT

Storage charges are levied on a quarterly basis and can be paid by direct debit. They include insurance at the replacement value, not purchase price.

Duty and VAT
Wines are normally purchased "in bond" so no duty or VAT is levied. These charges are levied when the wines are delivered from the bonded facility.

We strongly recommend that all wines which are not for immediate drinking are stored in our facilities to ensure they mature in optimum conditions.
